Last month, El Al Israel airlines celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first nonstop flight from New York to Tel Aviv, which took place on June 15, 1961. The maiden flight established three world records: the first nonstop service between New York and Tel Aviv; the fastest flight between the two cities (9 hours, 33 minutes); and the longest nonstop commercial flight to date at a distance of 5,760 miles.
Sara & David
Sara,
I wish to let you know how much Beth and I enjoyed our recent tour of Israel and Jordan. We enjoyed the Biblical itinerary and the expertise of our guide, Kobi, who is superior to any guide we have had (including 3 European "Rick Steves") tours with guides. The comprehensive itinerary, the quality of the hotels, food, bus and driver all helped contribute to an unforgetable experience of a lifetime. Jerusalem Tour's attention to detail really stood out in a positive way. We had very few additional expenses during the entire trip and that is noteworthy.
The pairing and reading of scripture by tour members and by Kobe with the places we visited in Israel, and Jordan were quite impactful and help us to have even a stronger faith in Jesus and a fresh perspective and admiration for Israel and Jordan and its citizens.
Thanks for a great life experience.
Blessings,
Bob and Beth Lockwood
