Day 1
Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport. Our representative will
meet and assist you through passport and customs control, help you with
your luggage on to your deluxe bus where your guide will welcome you.
We will drive to Jerusalem, where, on entering the Holy City we will
make a traditional blessing of welcome over wine. Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 2
We will view the Old City of Jerusalem from the Hill of Evil
Counsel (Haas Promenade), and briefly visit the City of David - the
heart of Biblical Jerusalem. We enter the Old City to tour the Temple
Mount Excavations, the Herodian Mansions of the Jewish Quarter and the
Cardo Maximus, where we will encounter the material and spiritual
legacy of the world in which Christianity was born.
In the afternoon we
will continue to Bethlehem, passing Rachel's Tomb, where we will visit
the Church of the Nativity and view the Shepherds' Fields. We return to
Jerusalem via Gilo, where King David assembled his mighty men with a
view looking down on Jerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 3
On this day we visit Bethany, the home of Mary, Martha and
Lazarus. At Bethpage, we will relive the experience of Jesus's entry
into Jerusalem. We continue with an overview of the Valley of
Jehosaphat and the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives, where we will
visit the Carmelite Church of Pater Noster, in which the famous "Our
Father" prayer is written in almost 100 languages.
Still on the Mount
of Olives,
we will be inspired by the simple beauty of the Dominus Flevit church,
commemorating the place where the Lord wept over the destruction of
Jerusalem, and by the stark silence of the Garden of Gethsemane. We
will walk across the Kidron Valley to the Via Dolorosa, past the
Bethesda Pools and St. Anne's, the Ecce Homo Arch, and the
Lithostrotos, to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Overnight:
Jerusalem.

Day 4
Free day, or take part in an optional trip to the Dead Sea . Overnight: Jerusalem.

Day 5
We begin our journey north via the Inn of the Good Samaritan, and the
deep canyon of Wadi Qelt, where we will view St. George's Monastery. We
continue through Jericho, the world's oldest city, where we will see
the Mount of Temptation, the Ancient Tel and Elisha's Spring.
Continuing north we visit Beit Shean, an ancient Roman Spa city and the
largest archaeological site in Israel today. We end the day at the
Yardenit Baptismal site on the Jordan River. We will enjoy an evening
in Galilee. Overnight: Galilee

Day 6
A journey around the Sea of Galilee guided by the Gospel
narratives. We will visit the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered
his famous sermon - "Blessed are the poor, for they shall inherit the
earth". Capernaum, where Jesus called and trained his disciples;
Tabgha: the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Fishes, and the
Primacy of Peter. We will sail across the Sea of Galilee in a fishing
vessel, before returning to our hotel. Overnight: Tiberias.

Day 7
We will travel to Cana, where Jesus performed His first
miracle, on to Nazareth visiting the Church of Annunciation, the St.
Jospeh Carpentry Workshop, and the Ancient Synagogue, where Jesus read
from Isaiah 61. We visit Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration. We
pass Megiddo (Armageddon), the scene of the final battle of the
Relevations. Then on to Caesarea, where Paul was imprisoned and the
first Gentile was converted. We see its Roman Theater, Aqueduct and
Crusader Walls. Overnight: Netanya.

Day 8
Transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for flight back home.
