Day 1
Arrive at the new border crossing in the North, where you will be met and assisted with all customs and immigration formalities.
Transfer by private car or deluxe air conditioned buses to Umm Qais, known for its antiquity Gadara. Gadara commands a magnificent view over the northern Jordan Valley, the Sea of Galilee, the Yarmout River gorge and the Golan Heights. After Umm Qais, we will pass Ajlun on our way to the Graeco - Roman city of Jerash, probably the best preserved and complete city of the Roman East. A monumental triple - arched gateway leads you to another time zone. As you walk along the temples, theaters, plazas, baths and colonnaded streets within the ancient city walls, you almost expect to see it's original inhabitants going about their everyday business.
